EMPOWER GIRLS WITH LIFE SKILLS

Every day at CEAF we wake up with the mindset that we need to ensure that every child is Educated, Healthy, Safe, and Happy. It’s a joyful thing to be in the position to be able to work with Amazing Sponsors and Donors like you in order to change a life for good.  In line with our overall target to transform underprivileged and Orphans into Entrepreneurs, we have a mini goal with a three year life span to elevate three thousand Underprivileged and Orphans into the League of Entrepreneurs. Each year would boast of a thousand Entrepreneurs, and we would be covering four counties with this project. These counties are: Montserrado, Grand Bassa, Margibi, and Bong County.
Tailoring: The Fashion Industry in Africa is growing rapidly, and trust me, Liberia hasn’t been left out. The fashion industry at large is expected to double in the next 10 years, generating up to US $5 trillion annually. Africa would be a beneficiary of this, and Liberia is blessed to have an organization like CEAF working on a Life Skill program in tailoring that can make underprivileged youths and Orphans who are passionate about being part of this massive boom in the Fashion  Industry Successful and financially independent.

SOAP MAKING:  We can’t do without soap, just as much as we can’t do without the air we breathe, and that’s because soap helps us to keep our environment clean, and a clean environment is equals to life. Trust me, without a clean environment we are vulnerable to a lot of diseases, that’s why CEAF: with its agenda to keep the nation healthy, we have decided to create the soap making Life Skill training available to help Orphans and underprivileged to become a force in creating a better life and a better environment.

Cosmetology:  Based on research, 617,300 people work in the cosmetology industry worldwide, and 43% of these people are self-employed. Cosmetologists are a big part of the fashion world, and like I said earlier when I was talking about the massive boom the fashion industry is experiencing, and the advantage it has on the tailoring life skill program we are about to launch. I am happy to inform you that the cosmetology life skill training will also enjoy the same benefits. The Cosmetology life training will help us produce Hairstylist, Barbers, and Make-up Artist.

Home Economics:  “An hungry man is an angry man”, this saying is very popular in this part of the world, and that’s where the Home Economics training skill comes into place to help provide expertise to feed the nation. Home Economics is not all about food making and nutrition, it also includes interior decoration, Jewelry making and much more. Our life skill training would benefit almost every home in the nation.

COMPUTER TRAINING: Our world has evolved due to the advancement in technology. CEAF is making sure underprivileged youths and orphans are well educated with every computer knowledge necessary to be at par with the growth and development in our world.
